Born in Geneva, Antoine Preziuso seemed destined for his métier.  He grew up playing with miniature wheels and springs at the feet of this watchmaker father and went on to graduate with top honors from the Geneva School of Watchmaking as a master in restoration.  In 1980, Antoine Preziuso began creating distinguished, complicated timepieces under his own name.  

A member of the Académie des Horlogers-Créateurs Indépendants, Preziuso works by insipiration.  Innovations, such as his patented striking work for a minute repeater with perpetual calendar have won him an international following.  In 1995, inspired by the entrance to the House of Harry Winston’s famous Fifth Avenue salon, he conceived a highly original tourbillon timepiece.  

For the Opus Two, Preziuso chose the ultimate test of skill in a watch complication: the tourbillon.  Preziuso felt that there was magic to the device, just as there is to a Harry Winston diamond, and that the two belonged together.  In 2005, 25 years of Independence is celebrated by creating the revolutionary piece “The 3Volution” which then became a new page in the history of watchmaking.Born in Geneva, he passed the entrance examination for the School of Watchmaking, where he trained for five years as a watchmaker/restorer.
